Shalom House

Biblical Concept of Shalom

In the Bible, "shalom" signifies more than just the absence of conflict; it encompasses wholeness, harmony, prosperity, and well-being. It is a state where relationships are restored, and individuals live in a supportive and nurturing community. This profound concept serves as the guiding principle for Shalom House at Prosper Junior School, influencing its ethos and activities.

Jeirah House

One of the prominent houses in our school is Jeirah House, named to evoke values and characteristics inspired by biblical teachings.

Jeirah is a name derived from the Hebrew word meaning "God will teach" or "God instructs." This name is chosen to inspire students to seek wisdom, knowledge, and moral guidance, aligning with the school's Christian foundation. Jeirah House symbolizes the pursuit of learning, spiritual growth, and ethical conduct.

Nissi

Nissi House is after Jehovah Nissi, which means "The Lord is my Banner," this house embodies the values of faith, unity, and victory.

The mission of Nissi House of the Bible is to cultivate a spirit of excellence, cooperation, and spiritual growth among its members. The house encourages students to strive for their best in all areas of school life while upholding strong Christian values.

Rohe House

In the Bible, the term "Rohe" is often associated with God as the Good Shepherd, who leads, protects, and provides for His people.

This biblical foundation is central to the ethos of Rohe House, which aims to emulate these characteristics in its members. Students in Rohe House are encouraged to be leaders and caregivers, looking out for their peers and contributing positively to the school community.
